Introduction
The KA171 project with Vietnam takes advantage of the current collaborations within the framework of the E+ KA171/22 with 4 Vietnamese Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), which is leading to the expected outcomes. The new project aims to boost the partnership with HANU, a historical UNICAM partner, by ensuring continuity and promoting the partnership with Quy Nhon University (QNU), not previously involved in the funding request.
The Erasmus+ teaching mobility at QNU combined teaching activities, scientific exchange and opportunities for future collaboration. During the visit, the UNICAM professor delivered lectures on key topics including early-life programming of adult health, gut microbiota responses to food intake, and nutrigenomics in health and disease. Meetings with students and young researchers provided further opportunities to discuss their studies and research activities, while a dedicated seminar on lifestyle and the epigenetic clock was addressed to faculty members.
The mobility also strengthened scientific cooperation between UNICAM, QNU and the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE). Discussions with Dr. Tho Nguyen and Prof. Son Tran focused on ongoing research and potential future collaborations, including the development of a Memorandum of Understanding between UNICAM and ICISE. Alongside the academic programme, the visit included cultural activities and a tour of the ICISE Research Center, offering an opportunity to learn more about its international scientific environment.

- Incoming Student mobility for Studies
Dr. Nguyen Thi Tho - Quy Nhon University (QNU) → University of Camerino
Nguyen Thi Tho, from QNU, joined the School of Pharmacy at the University of Camerino for a two-month Erasmus+ mobility at the Molecular Biology and Nutrigenomics Laboratory. During her stay, she took part in research activities in cell culture and molecular biology, gaining hands-on laboratory experience and developing skills in experimental planning and data analysis. Working alongside the UNICAM research team, under the guidance of Prof. Rosita Gabbianelli, gave her the opportunity to strengthen her scientific skills and experience an international and multicultural research environment.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Mong Diep - Quy Nhon University (QNU) → University of Camerino
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Mong Diep from Quy Nhon University joined the University of Camerino for a one-week Erasmus+ staff training mobility. During her stay, she had the opportunity to engage with UNICAM professors, researchers and students, exchanging ideas on research methodologies and potential future collaborations. The visit also offered an insight into UNICAM’s research facilities and collaborative laboratory environment. Her visit also coincided with the beginning of Nguyen Thi Tho’s mobility at UNICAM, providing a valuable opportunity to jointly discuss and set up the research activities that the student would carry out during her two-month stay. The experience contributed to strengthening academic links between the two universities, while also providing an opportunity for professional and cultural exchange.
