Introduction
The KA171 project with Vietnam takes advantage of the current collaborations within the framework of the E+ KA171/22 with 4 Vietnamese Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), which is leading to the expected outcomes. The new project aims to boost the partnership with HANU, a historical UNICAM partner, by ensuring continuity and promoting the partnership with Quy Nhon University (QNU), not previously involved in the funding request.
The Erasmus Teaching activity at Quy Nhon University, Vietnam, consisted of nine hours of lectures and meetings. The professor engaged in discussions with Dr. Tho Nguyen and Prof. Son Tran on research activities and potential collaborations between Unicam and the ICISE Center, a UNESCO-affiliated nonprofit organization. A Memorandum of Understanding was set to be signed between Unicam and ICISE. Meetings with students and young researchers focused on their studies, while a seminar on lifestyle and the epigenetic clock was delivered to faculty members. Teaching sessions covered topics such as early life programming of adult health and gut microbiota responses to food intake, culminating in a final lecture on nutrigenomics in health and disease. The visit also included cultural activities and a tour of the ICISE Research Center.
